Halloween Spider Toss Game

I made this spider toss game for our neighborhood Halloween party. It gives the small kids something simple to do: get 3 spiders to catch on the webs, get a candy. They basically will come up with their own rules, and keep going and going. The finished product came out exactly as I imagined it during planning, which is rare for me.

The structure is PVC pipe so that it can be taken apart for storage. I covered the pipe with styrofoam and spray foam, carved into bone-like shapes, sanded and painted.

The web is masonry string. I screwed eyelets into the pipe, and then fed the string through them. I tied the strings at every place they intersected, and then dabbed superglue on each knot.

The rear pipe support (in black) is attached to the bone frame using cotter pins. Easy disassembly.
