I created this Revenant King on Undead Wyrm for my Kings of War army because I wasn’t happy with the option available from Mantic Games. I used a Reaper Miniatures Great Worm 77006, rider is a 6th edition Citadel undead knight, tombstones are a mix of old GW and Reaper, the ground and saddle blanket I sculpted from epoxy putty.

I actually created the skeleton banner with the giant gaping maw motif long before I built this model. I had the plastic worm in a box and figured I’d convert a king riding it as it burst from the ground, and then model the rest of the army’s theme around that. I’m proud to say that it turned out exactly as I imagined it would, which almost never happens. Base is 50x50mm.
